Hey,
in the Kuznia Club, Bydgoszcz, arrived early morning, the Bus parked on the street outside (a fair walk to the venue so we all had a good workout carrying the kit).
We’re all set up and Scott’s just finished going through his mic levels and monitors. Great club, there’s a Gym, Sauna and Shower room – luxury!!
here’s a selection of photo’s so far today…

I’ll add commentary later – photo’s will suffice for now!!

Hey there,
Sorry it’s taken 4 days, but life on the road is fairly hectic and trying to find some time and some WiFi has been a little challenging so far.
What a trip tho, from leaving home on Sunday at 10:30am to today, Wednesday at 15:45 in Gdansk, it’s been some journey!!
I left home on Sunday (the rest of the tour left on Saturday, I couldn’t as I was at my Mum and Dad’s 50th Anniversary party), so I arrived at Manchester airport before flying into Dusseldorf and was met by Christiane and Uter then driven to Oberhausen.

The venue was a building off the courtyard of a Museum – check it out: http://www.zentrumaltenberg.de/ueber-uns/geschichte (and then google translate!!)

Great Gig – I won’t post video or setlists here as it may spoil it for people coming to gigs for the rest of the tour!!

Band played 2 and a half hours, we came offstage at 23:30 – we were packed ready to load by 12:20
April 11 – Reichenbach - Bergkeller – Germany
We were on the road by 02:00, driving through the night, I woke up round 8am and sat at the front of the Bus watching the world go by, stopping for a number 2

After pulling in for Breakfast at Uwe’s new place (sliced meat, cheese and bread..getting used to this…meat and bread for me!!) we then drove 10 mins to the Bergkeller!

I’ve assumed Tour Manager duties … or Herding Cats as we like to call it
for those of you who haven’t been to the Bergkeller in Reichenbach, let me tell you a little about it….
Uwe has converted his house into a venue, his old front room is where the stage is and the venue itself holds 80 people at a push!!

Apart from a slight accident of twisting my ankle and falling onto the BBQ and piercing my hand, everything went well, we were packed and on the road for 2am heading to Poznan, Poland…never been to Poland!
April 12 – Poznan - Blue Note – Poland
Poland is a beautiful country, rolling countryside like we have in England and stunning architecture in the cities. We were playing the Blue Note Jazz Club, nice…300 advance sales, great, nice venue….Fresh

More Poznan and Gdansk later when I upload the Photo’s!!

Well for me it begins tomorrow morning, working in Acton on Wednesday and Thursday, interspersed with a Rehearsal at the Studios on Wednesday night.
Late Thursday night, I’ll be picking up Bernie from Gatwick, our Sound Engineer, and then across to Clives. Friday Morning, its across to Riffs Bar to get ready for MegaDaze and the Album Launch.
I’m going to be taking a video blog of both MegaDaze and the Tour and will be posting here, keep checking back for updates, behind the scenes videos and views from the Road… see you out there
…We took the Car to the highest viewing point….
